The 140Flock Project

For reasons that are obvious to anyone who’s familiar with it, Twitter is pretty interesting from the perspective of human collective behaviour. Technologies which leverage the unprecedented amounts of real time information that it offers are slowly emerging.

The 140Flock Project is the twitter handle of ShoalBehaviour. Our presence there is about sharing and engaging with stories and events that highlight the mass movement of individuals in response to some powerful force, or the opposite – the way that very large movements of people contain within them aspects of individual behaviour.

This “Fractal Representation of Reality” is really at the core of what ShoalBehaviour is about.
